The aviation website platform

The club's website, the shop and the fleet tracker, run by the office

Altivy CMS is the website platform behind flight schools and aero clubs on Altivy. The office edits the pages in a live preview, sells trial flights as emailed gift vouchers, and every flight the fleet makes is on the map with its weather and approach debrief. Bookings and training records are the same Altivy login.

Every module

What is in the platform

Twelve areas, all built and running on live flight school sites today. Each card opens the full description with the screens.

Pages and publishing

Edit the real page, then publish it

The page editor shows the page as visitors will see it. Click a heading and type over it, drag sections into order, pick a background or spacing preset, and the draft saves as you go. Nothing goes live until someone presses Publish.

  • Twenty-one section types: hero, text, cards, pricing, gallery, blog feed, shop products, the live map, AI chat and more.
  • Inline editing in the live preview, with undo and redo and a phone and tablet view.
  • Ask AI drafts a section or a whole page in the site's own voice, ready to edit before it is published.
  • Import the site you have: the crawler maps your current pages onto sections.
Adding a section: content, layouts, media and live content.

Shop and gift vouchers

Trial flights sold online, the voucher emailed in seconds

Make any product a gift voucher. The buyer says who it is for and adds a message; when Stripe confirms the payment the recipient is emailed a printable gift card with a unique code. The office looks the code up, marks it redeemed after the flight, and can resend or issue one by hand for a counter sale.

  • Fixed-price trial flights and flying credit of any amount within a range you set.
  • A branded gift card with the aircraft photo, the code, the expiry and your terms, as an email and a PDF.
  • A voucher register with search, redeem, cancel and resend, and EFTPOS or cash sales marked paid from the order.
  • Sell on any page with the Shop products section, as well as in the shop.

Flying credit: the buyer picks the amount.
Fleet tracking and debrief

Every flight on the map, and the approach scored

The fleet tracker follows each aircraft on ADS-B with airspace, wind and rain layers, and keeps every flight. An instructor opens a flight to see the weather at the time, play it back, and read an approach debrief that compares the track and the altitudes with the published procedure.

  • Live positions from more than one ADS-B provider, on a page of its own or a tab on every page.
  • Playback of one aircraft or several, shared by link or recorded as a clip.
  • Approach debriefs with gates, the vertical profile and break-offs, corrected for QNH.

Analytics

See what visitors do, without tracking them

Visits, clicks and scroll depth are counted by the platform itself, with no cookies and no personal data. A heatmap shows where people click on each page, and the user flow shows the paths they take through the site, with AI notes on what to change.

  • Overview of visits, top pages, referrers and link clicks.
  • Click heatmaps by page and device, with scroll depth.
  • User flow from entry page to exit, and time on each page.

AI on your site

AI that answers from your own pages

The AI in Altivy CMS helps visitors find answers and helps the office write. It works from what you have published, and a person decides what goes live.

Security and compliance

Checked and scored on every release

The platform runs an automated security assessment and publishes the result. The numbers below come straight from the live check.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

How do I get into my site's admin?

Go to https://yoursite.altivycms.com/admin-login.html and sign in with the details from your welcome email, or with a passkey once you have set one up.

Can we use our own domain?

Yes. Each site gets an altivycms.com address straight away, and your own domain can be added and verified with a CNAME record at your DNS provider.

How do drafts and publishing work?

Every page, post, event, aircraft, team profile and menu has a draft and a live version. The office edits the draft, previews it, and the public sees nothing until it is published.

Can we sell trial flights as gift vouchers?

Yes. Tick Gift voucher on a product and it is sold through the shop: the recipient is emailed a printable gift card with a unique code, and the office redeems it in the Gift Vouchers screen. Flying credit can let the buyer choose the amount.

    How are payments taken?

Through Stripe hosted checkout, with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card details never touch the platform, and GST is worked out from your shop settings.

Does it work with Altivy bookings and training?

Yes. The Altivy Manager booking widget sits on the site, members sign in with their Altivy account, and the flights the tracker records are matched to the training record in Altivy Learning.

Is our data kept apart from other clubs?

Yes. Every table is scoped to your site and every query enforces it, so your pages, customers, orders and settings are separate from every other site on the platform.

    Where do I get help?

Use the help button on any admin screen, read the guides in your admin's Help section, or email support@altivy.com.
